Gasteria liliputana, native to South Africa, is a miniature member of the family Liliaceae (recently re-classified as Asphodelaceae). Shiny dark green rigid leaves with dense white speckles in loosely spiralling rosettes. Profusely offsetting to form clusters. Hummingbirds love tubular flowers pinkish green that appear in spring. An excellent plant for areas with very low light. Commonly used as windowsill or house plants. Will thrive in bright, filtered light as well. Porous soil with adequate drainage. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Protect from frost.
This plant is grown with organic, pesticide-free methods. Selling a gorgeous, healthy young plant currently in a 4" pot.
