Trichocereus Thelegonus

 

This is a gorgeous specimen of Trichocereus Thelegonus Cristata, a very attractive form of the Argentinian native Trichocereus Thelegonus or Echinopsis Thelegona. The Cristata form is an unusual and prized form that resembles a fan - shape. Great for patios or landscapes in temperate climates. Responds well to warmth, with its active growth period in the late spring and summer months.
Flowers are striking - white and funnel shaped, lightly scented.The fruit is red and hairy, producing black seeds when it splits open.Requires bright light to full sun for best appearance, and should be given a winter resting period at which time less water should be given. Protect from frost. All plants are shipped well packaged, healthy, free of pests & diseases.
