Striking Aloe Harlana from the Mountains of Ethiopia (Harar Province) around 5000 feet (1500 m). The species name harlana comes Harla, the locality in Ethiopia where this Aloe was first collected. Solitary or slowly clumping succulent rosettes, 7 inches in diameter (18 cm) or more. Beautiful spikes of electric pink flowers.
Flowers frequently visited by hummingbirds. Porous soil with adequate drainage. Bright, filtered light for best color. Prefers ample airflow. Water thoroughly when soil is dry to the touch. Protect from frost.
